A Dreamy Coastal Editorial Workshop at the Historic Aldrich Mansion in Rhode Island

Stepping into the grandeur of a late 19th-century mansion perched along the scenic shores of Narragansett Bay felt like entering a dream. This exquisite estate, with its rich architectural details and sweeping views of the coast, was the perfect setting for a fine art wedding editorial workshop steeped in elegance and timeless beauty.
The vision for this shoot was inspired by the serene, romantic palette of coastal colors—soft blues, warm sands, and sea foam greens—that perfectly complemented the stately charm of the mansion and the sparkling waters just beyond its rolling lawns.
Our stunning model couple brought the story to life as they moved gracefully through a series of styled stations, each one more breathtaking than the last. From the moment they stepped onto the scene, they embodied the spirit of refined romance, their chemistry glowing in the soft, golden light that bathed the estate.
The florals were a highlight in themselves—lush arrangements in hues that mirrored the ocean and sky, arranged with an organic yet sophisticated touch. The elegant dining setup was a work of art, nestled under magnificent chandeliers and surrounded by antique architecture that whispered stories of decades past. Each detail—vintage tableware, textured linens, and flickering candlelight—was perfectly curated to evoke a sense of understated luxury.
One of the most striking locations was the grand staircase, a masterpiece of craftsmanship and old-world charm. With its intricate railing and dramatic flow, it became a central piece of our visual narrative—a symbol of the journey the couple would take together.
Outdoors, the back of the mansion opened to rolling green lawns that seemed to cascade into the waters of Narragansett Bay. It was a vista that took your breath away and reminded you of the timeless romance of coastal New England.
Adding to the ambiance, a live string quartet played throughout the day, infusing the entire shoot with a soundtrack of elegance and joy. During the cocktail hour, we captured moments around a sparkling champagne tower, the clink of glasses and gentle laughter floating through the air.
And what better way to end the day than with a vintage Rolls-Royce getaway car, waiting just beyond the gardens? It was a picture-perfect finale, embodying the timeless luxury and storybook charm that defined the entire experience.
This editorial was more than just a styled shoot—it was a celebration of love, beauty, and the magic that happens when history, art, and the sea meet.
